Can you provide a definitive answer to this question?

Do we need to bother trying to implement Google’s Data Highlighter on a site running The Event Calendar (Pro)?

(I.e. No need because schema.org for events is built in by default)

I’ve been having a play with the tool on client site at http://www.etal.org.uk/events/ but it doesn’t like the way the site is set up and says the individual event pages aren’tin Google’s index.

What is a good search query to run to see how Google is displaying the event rich snippets for this site?

    Hi and welcome 🙂

Based on my experience with the data highlighter tool, there is the potential of a theme and/or plugin conflict based on what you’ve shared with me.

What is a good search query to run to see how Google is displaying the event rich snippets for this site?

I typically resort to doing a Google search along the lines of:

    “site:http://your-site.com/event/single-event”

I see you have Yoast SEO plugin installed on your site and you have a Google Webmaster account. Between those two, you should be able to fully manage the SEO titles, descriptions, etc. Please let me know if this helps answer your question and have a great rest of your day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
