ParticipantThe new import server has completely broken our calendar imports with incorrect parsing of Google Calendar location data.
Example page: https://divi.purposechurch.com/event/a-recurring-event/
iCal Link: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/purposechurch.com_81elgr38dape8sap96fepp840k%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.icsYou’ll notice that the address was clearly entered in the location field in Google Calendar, but the address parsed and created for the venue was some nonsense location many miles away.
If this can’t be fixed we’ll have no use for the Event Aggregator plugin and I would like a refund. Thanks!

ParticipantIt gets even worse. Every other event created in a recurring set from Google Calendar is missing the description. These are ALL the same event (see the iCal file).

ParticipantFor some reason the file uploader died when I tried to add an image to my earlier comment. Here’s a reference image.

KeymasterHi Christopher,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue with Event Aggregator! I tested out the link you sent, and I am getting the same thing on my end.
I don’t see any bug reports currently open for this, so I am going to run it by the team and get back to you shortly!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantThanks for checking into that. We’re looking at a go-live date of 11/19 and we’re really excited to be able to use the aggregator, so if you think a fix will be ready by then we’ll continue down that road. If not, it would be helpful to know that as well since so we can plan.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi Christopher,
I just talked to one of our developers, and unfortunately this is not something that we have a quick fix for – definitely not by the 19th. Sorry for the bad news, I was hoping I would have a better answer for you here!
I have linked this thread to our internal ticket, so as soon as a fix is released, you’ll be notified here. In the meantime, I can go ahead and process the refund for you if you would like?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
