ParticipantI have noticed a few issues in the forum about global stock issues, but none of them seem to have a resolution.
As you can see from my screenshots, i have a event which has 2 ticket types, each using the global stock option. the global stock is set to 10.
As you can see, my WooCommerce settings are all checked.
I have a list of 6 attendees, (1 of which is refunded, but i know there is a KB about that https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-cancel-tickets-order/)
yet the front shop screens still say that there are 10 of each type available!
I think it should say 4 of each type of ticket available.on a side note, i find it extremely annoying that there is no way to remove cancelled orders from the totals on the attendees list….i have even tried moving orders to the trash etc, so that they don’t show up in the attendee list, yet still the totals include them.

KeymasterHi Chris,
Thanks for reaching out to us and I’m really sorry about this stock issue.
I’d be happy to help you find the source of this.
What payment gateway are you using for the transactions? (My hunch is PayPal.)
When a purchase is made, what is the status of the order you see? Is it still ‘Pending Payment’, ‘Processing’ or ‘Completed’? Do you have a snippet or plugin that modifies the default behavior? (We used to recommend a snippet that would set the ticket order status to ‘Completed’ automatically.)
Could you do the following test scenarios please and share with me the results:
- Enable the ‘Cash on Delivery’ payment method in WooCommerce. Purchase a ticket like that and check if the global stock goes down. If the global stock goes down, it can signal that there is an issue with your regular payment gateway.
- Create a normal WooCommerce product and set up a stock for it. Make a purchase with your regular payment gateway and check if the stock goes down. Then try the same with CoD.
Looking forward to helping you solve this.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
