ParticipantI originally uploaded Events Calendar Pro in a domain called CoronadoCalendar.com (CC) and it has been working perfectly. I have decided I want to integrate the calendar into my main website, WelcomeToCoronado.com (WTC) so I exported from CC and inported into WTC. The entries seem to be fine, but the calendar itself looks different and I can’t figure out why.
For instance, on WTC:
1. The legends at the top are squished together versus spaced evenly on CC.
2. The font is different in the entries on WTC (that may be something I can fix but can’t seem to figure out how!)August 14, 2018 at 7:07 pm #1597614Cliff
MemberHi. Thanks for your detailed question.
We do not provide styling or theme integration support, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
If your two sites use different themes, plugins, or have different settings, your styling could be different.
If you’re using The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin, you might look into those settings for padding — or maybe the theme’s styling for buttons — or just add some new CSS to your new site.
You can add custom CSS code via your child theme’s style.css file, via WordPress 4.7’s Customizer CSS settings, or via a third-party plugin (not guaranteed or supported by us), like:
- SiteOrigin CSS (helps you visually build CSS selectors via its Inspector and Visual Editor, if that’ll help you)
- Simple Custom CSS
- Jetpack (supports regular CSS and the LESS and Sass pre-processors)
If you’re not a CSS expert, Jetpack’s Custom Design reference may prove helpful.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

ParticipantHi, I have played around with the CSS code a bit and actually fixed and learned a few things! One thing I can’t seem to figure out is how to put padding between the legend boxes, top and bottom. Can you help me with that?
Thanks, Leslie

MemberGlad to hear that.
Sure, I can help with that tweak, but only if you provide me the link, since each site has different markup (one of the reasons we don’t provide customization support).
To be clear, by “legend” you’re referring to the colored category buttons, right?

ParticipantThe link is for http://www.welcometocoronado.com/coronadocalendar. And yes, the color category buttons. Thanks.
