Give shop manager rights to watch attendees list in back end

Hi there,

I am making an account for shop manager in our site and i would like to know which rights i have to give for selected user that he/she is able to access the attendees list and read in customers with qr-code scanner. I do not want to give administrator rights for this person.

Hi, Ilkka.

At this time, the required capability to check in attendees is edit_posts and that might also work for accessing the attendees list. You’ll need to do some trial and error to make sure it works exactly as you want.

Hi,

I already tried giving this privilege edit_posts to this user, but it resulted to a situation where the user is not able to view the events. So i have not found a combination for right privileges how a specific user could view an event and its’ attendees in the backend and also check attendees in to an event. So if you have more suggestions for me i would be happy to hear.

Hi there,

I found the right combo for rights. I just had to add all the privileges for posts and it started working. Not the best solution maybe but it will do the trick.
