Getting paid events to show as featured products

I’m using event and ticket pro to create a calendar of paid cooking events on my website, http://www.thishonestfood.com along with woocommerce.

When a calendar event with a ticket is created, it will also appear as a “product” within the woocommerce section of wordpress.

My theme (Hallie by Angie Makes) populates “featured products” on the static front page of the website, however I can’t get it to populate any of the calendar events, even though they appear as “products” along with other products I create outside of the calendar.

Is there a snipit of code I can add to the custom CSS page, or a tweak I can make to the functions.php file to get the calendar to populate to the “featured products”? I’d like to do the same with the slider on the front page as well.

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

Let me try to help you with this one.

When you open the WooCommerce product of the ticket for editing, then in the publish box you can set the product to be visible or hidden (screenshot), as well as set it as a featured product.

By default, the ticket products will be set as ‘Hidden’. I believe you will need to set that to some visible option to make them appear there (and set it as featured). Did you already do that and they still don’t appear?
