Hello,
I love your product and run it on several clients sites, but I noticed that Google isn’t picking up any of their events in its own results (see my screenshot). Other website calendars are getting picked up by Google. Do you have a recommendation for a workaround for this or another plugin to use with your calendar? Thanks!
However, if you’d like to try schema, I’d suggest https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-schemaorg-rich-snippets/. On any post/page/event/custom post type, this plugin would allow you to select that it is an event and populate those results in schema markup. I can’t promise that it will ultimately do much. Google will do what it wants with the data.
I do hope some of this helps. Again, we’d love to have a solid way to ensure search engines always picked up on the data that we already make available.
Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
