Get past events from REST API

Hello,

I understand that the REST API allows to get events as JSON objects.
Does it also allow to query past events?

start_date and end_date do the trick.
e.g. …/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events?start_date=2018-06-01&end_date=2018-07-01&per_page=5

The requests do seem to time out frequently when the date range gets to big though.
