Genesis Work Around for Author Bio

I am still trying to get this to work with Genesis theme. I am using the Gigawatt child theme.
Is there a way to not show the author bio on the events page?

I’ve tried both an author bio plugin and the genesis “Enable Author Box on this User’s Posts?” option. If the author bio is turned on, the bio shows up on the events page.

Is there a way to set this up so that the events page doesn’t display author bio.

I have not used the Author Box much, but I think this code will work for you:

Add that to your theme’s functions.php and the Author Box should be removed.
