    Hi,

    On my site I would like to display the Featured image on on content archive pages (example here: http://x.hwbot.org/blog/ ) and this works. I basically just have to activate the option in the genesis theme settings.

    Issue is that it also impacts the /events/ page and since no image is defined there, it pulls a random image out of me media folder (interestingly, always the same … anyway).

    Question: How can I turn of the feature image on the /events/ page generated by TEC ? (I tried to look for snippers, but only found stuff regarding categories…).

    OR: Worse case, if I can’t hide it, how can I change the image it’s using -> this way I could set banners on special occasions right at the top for example.

    Thanks ahead for your help!

    Good evening PieterĀ and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the unwanted image creeping up on your Events Archive page.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    There are a few ways to go about this:

    1. You could hide via CSS using a rule such as

    .post-type-archive-tribe_events .post-image {display:none}

    2. You could try changing the setting found atĀ Events -> Settings -> Display (Events template to Default Page template)

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
