"More" function doesn’t create summary text on main events pg w/ new update

Many of my event descriptions are a few sentences. So I used the <!–more–> function after the first sentence of each event listing in order to make the preview text (summary) on my main events page shorter.

Everything worked fine with that. You could see just the first sentence of each event listing on the main events page . . . until I updated to the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Pro. Now, the main events page shows the entire text of the listings. (See my main events page: http://www.travelersresthere.com/events/)

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi Celeste and happy new year!

Interesting. We actually resolved this issue in a recent release. Are you running the latest versions of The Events Calendar (4.0.4) and Events Calendar PRO (4.0.3)? If you could confirm that and provide your system information (Events > Settings > Help) here as a private reply, that would be great.
