Full-width List Event Featured Image

Hi,
I’m using Events Calendar PRO in order to list events being done by our company, and I was wondering whether there’s a more efficient way to change the featured images on the List view of the events to be full-width? At the moment, we’ve changed line 70 on “views/single-event.php” to tribe_event_featured_image( null, “large”) and added a CSS style on .tribe-events-event-image div to make it width: 100%. Would there be a better way to do this so that it doesn’t get overwritten when we update the plugin? Thanks!

Actually, there is. You can do exactly what you did in the context of a template override.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Basically, you need to copy these edited files in the correct file path inside the /tribe-events/ folder of your theme/child-theme.

This will prevent the customizations from being overwritten.
