I have searched through the forum and found the shortcode for the mini calendar but is there a shortcode or way to embed a full calendar by a specific category? The mini calendar lacks some functionality I want. I found the url for the category I need but I need to embed that calendar on a different page.

    Hey @dwruck,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’m sorry to bear this news, but at this time there is no such “full calendar” embed shortcode like you describe. 🙁 The full calendar can only exist at the main events page itself.

I’m sorry to disappoint—let me know if you have any follow-up questions in regards to this, or if there’s anything else I can try to help with.

    Sincerely,
    George

I had the same question and since it’s not possible, I’ve got another follow-up:

Because I’m not able to embed the calendar somewhere else, and it’s not technically a “page”, I can’t nest it as a child page, so it throws off my Breadcrumbs and is also not my preferred URL. Is there any way to nest it as a “child” and somehow change it so the breadcrumbs at least say “events” instead of “page” (as it currently is)?

There is unfortunately not a way to nest it as a child, @kendra—sorry to have to bear more bad news here!

To add support for it to your “breadcrumbs”, there is unfortunately no way to do this from within our plugin. I would recommend contacting the support team of the folks who make that breadcrumb-generating product; i.e. if it comes from a theme, the theme support, or if you’re using a plugin to generate, reach out to those folks.

    Sorry to disappoint. 🙁

    Sincerely,
    George
