    Hi,

We are about to buy the iCal Importer Extension but i have a question. We do all event/calendar updates in google Calendar. If we delete a event in Google calendar will it also be deleted in The Event Calendar? Its important for us that the sync delete, update, add all events when syncing with Google Calendar.

    Hey Mikael,

We unfortunately do not have 100% complete syncing between Google Calendar and The Events Calendar. While we try to ensure that edits to already-imported events are synced, this does not happen:

If we delete a event in Google calendar will it also be deleted in The Event Calendar?

Events on The Events Calendar can only be deleted from the WordPress site itself.

    I hope this helps!

So if there is an already imported event it wont be able to sync with google if changes are made on google calendar?

If i add a new event in google calendar it will be automatic sync/added to the event calendar?

    Hi Mikael,

To be clear about the imports, they don’t quite happen “automatically.” They happen on the schedule you set, which can be hourly, daily, etc.

As for the syncing, if you edit an event on the Google Calendar then the changes should be reflected on the WP version of the event. If not, a new event will be imported to the WP site and you can delete the other, originally-imported version.

    Sincerely,
    George
