I know this issue has been brought up before, and I’ve read those threads, but I’m still not sure how to do what I would like to do. I would like the frontpage/homepage to be just the calendar and the normal sidebars. I’m using the Genesis theme.

I really don’t understand the tags and in which file they should go in. I apologize for my ignorance but I’ve never tried anything like this before.

Hey Craig. No problem; we’re happy to do what we can to help. We actually just updated our Documentation page ( tri.be/support/documentation ) today with some straightforward examples of event loops that can be made using template tags. There was also a forum thread on this very issue that you’ve probably seen (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/loop-examples/) which Jonah also updated recently with some simple solutions.

That point you in the right direction? Let me know if you were looking for something more substantive and I’ll adjust my response accordingly.
