    Hello,
We are getting frequent 503 Errors switching from one page to another of our website. This happens daily for me.

It happens on the main website, and from within WP Admin.

My hosting service is telling me that the problem might be caused because we are using wp_cron instead of cPanel cron. Does Events Calendar Pro (or Events Tickets Plus) enable and use wp_cron?

My hosting service suggests that if so, that I have you assist me to set up the cron job in cPanel instead. Is that possible.

As I said, this happens daily, so I would appreciate any information and assistance you can provide.

We have been a happy user of your pro/plus plugins since 2014, and they are very important to us, so thank you.

    Hello,

Our plugins do use wp_cron. I believe in this situation you could use a plugin like WP Crontrol to manage your crons in your WordPress admin dashboard. Let me know if this recommendation works out for you and we’ll go from there.

Another helpful resource includes Our Favorite Developer Plugins which was written in hopes of alleviating some stress with the use of a few great plugins.

Thanks and have a great evening 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
