free ticket order confirmation

    Hi,

    my client recently made a mistake and created some tickets and did not add the price.

    Before she spotted it some people had booked and rec’d their tickets. However, they seemed to have rec’d them without my client doing the order confirmation in WooCommerce.

    Is there anyway I can adapt the system so that even free orders have to be confirmed. Just in case she does it again 😉

    We are sorry to hear about that very unfortunate mishap. Yikes!
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The default behaviour is that even if the product is free, the order should go to “Processing” and not “Complete” which sends the tickets.

    Is it possible that there is an auto-complete order plugin in place ?
    Or perhaps the box at the bottom of Events -> Settings -> Tickets ?
