FORMER EVENTS CALENDAR

Hello,

I have installed AVADA and EVENTS Calendar. The idea is to show the events of an institution. BUT it does not show the former events but only the future ones. I need that the web shows also the passed events.

How can I do this please?

On our demo site, you can see the “previous events” link. This can take users back to see previous events: https://wpshindig.com/events/list/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past. You could use this to create a specific link to see previous events. Additionally, you can customize the events to be in chronological order using https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/show-past-events-in-chronological-order/.

At this time, we do not have a widget that can accomplish this. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

We do however provide solutions such as the [tribe_events] shortcode https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/ which accepts a date attribute – letting you force it to display events from the past.
