    Text format /styling question.
In the description box of an event i add some bold to make it easier to read. see example here:
    http://www.bcmagazine.net/bc/event/the-bilinda-butchers-2016/

When the description is carried over to the single day events listing, the text formatting disappears. see here:
    http://www.bcmagazine.net/bc/events/2016-06-26/

Is there a way for the single day view to keep the text format of the description box? Or is it, as i suspect, just too impractical?
Or is there a way to dictate what text will appear in the single day view?
in my example i’d like to keep the band name and the words date, venue, tickets in bold to make the single day view easier to read.

    See the screen shots.

    Thank you

Good evening Simon and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

What is going on is that in the list view, the excerpt section is not accepting HTML by default.
The good news is that you can totally change that using the following: https://git.io/vrcXG

You can control what gets displayed by using the except field in the Edit event screen.
The snippet above will let you put in HTML tags (such as )

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
