GuestI am looking for a calendar reservation/booking system for my emerging website that allows travelers to book activities (e.g., tours, rentals, spa appointments). We are planning on using Easy Digital Downloads for checkout (we also sell other items on our website), and they informed me that they are considering building an add-on that allows integration with your Event Calendar.
On the surface, it doesn’t seem like a great fit for what we’re looking for given your focus on events. Ideally, we are looking for a separate calendar system that we would place on each activity page, and have multiple options for each activity (e.g., multiple spots for a tour multiple times a day, or different bike rental options for different times a day, etc.).
I cannot figure out whether Events Calendar Pro would be a potential fit, including allowing different calendars for different activities (with multiple options, and ideally different prices depending on day, etc.). Can you elaborate?
The free version did not seem like a good fit, but perhaps the Pro version would be. If you could provide a free trial or refund period, we could try the Pro version and see if we can make it work for us (otherwise, we would likely not risk the $ to go with it).
Thanks,

ParticipantHi, Tyler. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to talk to you about The Events Calendar.
We are currently working with EDD on a future integration, but unfortunately, it’s not something that will be available in the immediate future.
As far as whether The Events Calendar PRO would be a good fit for you, it sounds like your assessment is spot on. The PRO add-on basically adds additional features to the free version, so if the core parts of the free version aren’t fitting your needs, it’s unlikely that the PRO version will fix that.
Ultimately, I think you may want something a bit more robust and activity focused rather than creating separate events.
I’m sorry I don’t have better news for you. Good luck finding a solution that better fits your workflow.
