Footer widgets not showing on events page

Hi there

I browsed through the forum but couldn’t find an answer. I have placed widgets in the footer of my pages. They are shown everywhere, but NOT on the events page. When I check the source code of the events page, I see that the whole widget section, that is normally inserted before the footer starts, is not there.

I hope you can help to solve this.

Hi there!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your site. I’ll try to help you get this sorted.

The site header and footer would be included by the page template you choose from your theme.

Can you tell me what you have selected for Events > Settings > Display > Events Template?

I do see the footer on your events page. The “footer widgets” section seems to be separate, and is not showing up for some reason. You may need to track down what logic the theme uses to add this section to a page, and may have to enable it for other post types.

Dear Sky

I’ve used the default page template (Word Presss) in the settings, assuming it would pick up the footer widgets as for the other pages.

Any more clues?

I’m afraid I don’t have any idea. The calendar plugin does not interact with the theme footer in any way.

You will need to contact the theme authors to find out what logic they are using to load the footer widgets.
