    Hi,

One of my earlier threads was marked closed as I was told you guys would look into fixing the issue. It was raised back in January so I just wanted to follow up because it’s quite important to me that this gets fixed. Currently I can’t have map view as my default view as it doesn’t load any events until the ‘near’ field is completed. This kind of sucks for me as one of the main reasons I switched to TEC was that I loved the map view and think my users will love it too.

Could someone revisit this for me and let me know when a fix is scheduled for?

    Here’s the thread:

No Events in Map View unless ‘Near’ field is completed.

    Thanks,
    Mat

    Hey Mat,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I took a look at the previous thread as well as the associated ticket internally that was created based on this particular issue.

Unfortunately there hasn’t been any forward momentum on this one from a development perspective. It’s an extremely rare scenario and any resolution we do pursue could still cause the same issues for larger venue counts on WP Engine hosting in this scenario.

I know it isn’t the news you were wanting to hear, however we do still have the ticket open and as we do pursue addressing this one you’ll be notified on your original thread.

    Thanks!
