Fixes check before Update to 3.1

I had some issues with Woo-themes Canvas, and some recurring event issues that I had fixed via code snippets from the support forum. I see the new update, and wanted to make sure none of that code would be problematic if I update as it looks like some of these might be part of the new update. These are the fixes that I have:

Should I remove any of that before I update events cal and events cal pro with the latest update?

Hi fiveespressos,

It’s hard to say without knowing the context from which you derived those snippets. In the second snippet at least I’d hazard a guess that the first element (running on the admin_head action) will no longer be necessary and the second snippet (running on the init action) may or may not be.

The safest way to determine this is to upgrade on a duplicate staging site first of all and figure out if there are problems or not and take things from there 🙂
