I just purchased and installed Event Tickets Plus, created my first ticket post, but the message “Tickets are not yet available.” is displayed at the bottom of the post. I enabled WooCommerce and set the Start sale date to yesterday, but the post does not allow me to purchase tickets.

This morning, my ticket is now available, however when “Sell using” is changed to WooCommerce, a ticket price is set, and “Save this ticket” is pressed, when I go to the post, I can RSVP to the event without being charged.

    Hi Phillip,

I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it resolved!

First, could you please share your system information with me, as well as a link to an event this is occurring on and a screenshot of the ticket edit section on the back end of that event?

    Thanks!

    Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer,

I resolved the issue by deleting the ticket from the post and re-creating it
with wooCommerce set before I saved it.

When I created the ticket initially, I had RSVP selected before I saved it.
When I tried to subsequently update the ticket by selecting wooCommerce and
saving it, it would never switch to wooCommerce, however other aspects of
the ticket could be modified and saved. As I said, the solution was to just
delete the original ticket, then create it from scratch and select
wooCommerce before saving it for the first time.

    Hi Philip,

I’m glad to hear you were able to get this resolved! Tickets created as WooCommerce tickets actually create WooCommerce simple products that are associated with the event, but RSVPs are handled differently. So, switching a ticket between the two isn’t quite so simple. However, you can set the price to “0” for WooCommerce tickets, so keep that in mind if you wanted to change from a free ticket to a paid ticket or vice versa.

I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but please feel free to open a new one if you have any further questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
