    Can I change the first day of the week to Sunday instead of Monday in the free version or is that feature only available in the PRO version?

    You can change that with a WordPress setting.

    Go to WordPress Settings > General > “Week Starts On”

    Then change that to Sunday and the month view will now start on Sunday.
