First day of multi day event

Hello

In theme options i can choose if i want only the first day of a multi day event to be displayed but it does not apply in month view.

We plan in using the month view grid but we want to display only the first day of the event. Can it be done?

Thanks for reaching out to us here!

Are you referring to the Recurring events setting that allows you to limit the display of the recurring events in the list views to showing only the next upcoming event?

Yes almost all events are multi day events and we want to use the month view as the default grid.

As you can see in the attached image, it looks like a mess because every day the same events are shown.

I want only the first day of the event to be shown.

Thanks for following up with us here.

I don’t have any good advice for a solution here that wouldn’t be a bit hacky. However, it looks like we do have a solution for this in our upcoming release (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/5318027-allow-display-of-multi-day-events-occuring-on-simu). You can add your voice there on that thread and you’ll be notified when that solution comes available.
