Filters in Mini-Calendar Widget

Hi Help Desk, we use [tribe_mini_calendar] shortcode on our site and have no problems with it in version 4.4.19, but if updated to 4.4.23, the list of events disappears. We found out that the problem is in filters. As soon as we add category=”name” or categories=”name” or tag=”#512″ to the shortcode the list of events disappears.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the mini calendar shortcode. I will try to help figure out the problem.

I’m running version 4.4.23, and I was able to see the list of events below the calendar when adding a category to the shortcode. Can you provide a link to where this is occurring, and a screenshot or copy/paste of the shortcode you are using?

Alina,

Ah, I understand your issue now. This is actually the expected behavior, and was recently updated to correct this. The calendar in this widget acts as the interface for the list of events below. It was decided that it didn’t make sense to show events from other months as you navigate from month to month.

If you just want to display a list of the next 5 events, you need to use the “Events List” widget.
