Filtering events by distance from user

Hello,

I am looking to create a web and mobile app featuring a database of national events.

However, I would like for the user to be able to see events only within a reasonable distance from his/her location. Is this currently possible with any version Events Calendar?

As you can see from the screenshot taken from wpshindig.com/events, there is the ability to filter events by distance. The second screenshot is from the Filter Bar back end settings.
