Filter past events with a shortcode

Hello,

My client would like to show a list of past events of a specific category on a page.

Is there a way to enter a shortcode that would automatically show a list of past events of a category?

If no, is there an other solution?

You can add in a date range attribute to your shortcode in order to display past events of a specific category:

Hello Jaime and thanks for your answer.

I already consulted the post you’re refferring to but there’s no reference to a real date range. I quote the article :

This attribute makes the shortcode views load the specified date, so that can you show a specific month, week, or day.

What if i want to show a whole year? Or How can I show the events from a specific period (let’s say for example from august to november)? How can I achieve that?

Hi Nicolas,

With the date attribute, you can choose a date where the events will start showing, so you can choose a date in the past for that, in order to show your past events.

Another option you may be interested in is The Events Calendar Shortcode plugin.  We are not affiliated with it in any way, but some customers have had success using it to display past events.
