Filter events

Hi!

I’m thinking of going with your Pro-plugin, but wonder if there’s built in support for filtering events based on a for example branch/country etc? I need a calendar that sort of works like many calendars in one. Is that possible with The Events Calendar?

Hi Daniel

You have a few options for filtering. You could use either tags or categories to filter you events.

You can see the category on our demo site event: http://wpshindig.com/event/womens-javascript-study-group/2017-10-25/

The category links to http://wpshindig.com/events/category/learning/ to show all categories.

We do offer Calendar View Shortcodes and Widget Shortcodes as part of Events Calendar Pro. These will allow you to display just specific content from within a category.

If that method doesn’t interest you, you could check out Filter Bar. It’s noticeable as the 2nd bar on http://wpshindig.com/events/.
