Filter calendar via URL

Hello 🙂

I’d like to be able to use the calendar in various places across my site but automatically filter for different tags or categories on different pages. We run a tour site and each tour is available on different dates.

I’ve tried filtering and then copying the URL on your demo e.g.
http://wpshindig.com/events/?tribe_eventcategory%5B%5D=24
But the filters (although still visibly ticked) don’t work and the calendar resets to showing all.

If there a way to have one ‘parent’ calendar and several child calendars showing filtered results? And can I embed the calendar on numerous pages?
