I want my filter bar open by default on mobile devices, I do not want users to have to click ‘Show Filters’. I know this cannot be achieved by the toggle in the settings, is there a code work around that I can use somehow?

    Hi Jeremy!

Thanks for reaching out to us!

My apologies for the delay in our response. It seems this thread has gone out of radar and we’ve just bumped into it.

Let me help you with this topic.

Like you say, there is no built in option to show the filters open by default on mobile view. You to that will require some custom coding.

While we are limited in how much support we can give for custom development questions like this, we always like helping out and at least point users into the right direction.

So, I will reach out to the team and see if we can come up with a workaround for this.

    Please hang in there.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Jeremy!

    Thanks for your patience!

Here’s a code snippet you can place in your active theme’s functions.php file to always show the filters in mobile:

Let me know if it works for you.

    Best,
    Victor

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
