ParticipantThe Filter Bar on the site I’m developing only shows weekdays and not weekends in its dropdown. I’ve looked all over the EC Pro & Filter Bar settings but can’t find a way to turn on weekend days. How can I enable this?
The site is in development and is not accessible publicly but I’m happy to give you access in a private way.
Thanks.

ModeratorHey Michelle,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m really not sure as to why the ‘Day’ option is only displaying weekdays and not weekends. If you haven’t already, can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings? Also, have you tried creating an event for a weekend day to see if the Filterbar displays the weekend day you created the event for?
Let me know and have a great weekend. Cheers!

ParticipantHi. I have switched themes and disabled all other plugins and the problem persists. And yes, there is an event on the weekend which isn’t changing the days filter. What do you suggest next?

ModeratorMichelle,
Thank you for the response. Sorry I didn’t think of this before, but if you visit Events > Settings > Display and scroll to the ‘Hide weekends on Week View‘ option (see screenshot below), uncheck it and the weekend days should now display in the Filterbar.

Let me know if it works. Cheers!

ParticipantThanks Hunter. I did ensure that checkbox was not checked prior to submitting my support request. What do you suggest next?

ParticipantHey @Michelle,
Thanks for your patience here.
I am not able to reproduce this issue on my own site, so I’m curious:
1. You say, “The site is in development and is not accessible publicly but I’m happy to give you access in a private way.” Would you indeed be willing to post some private login credentials here, in a private reply?
If you would like us to log in to view the site, please also write that you understand that our support team will only be accessing the site from a “read-only” perspective; we will NOT change any settings in the admin or front-end.
Finally, if you would like us to log in to view the site, please also write that you understand that we are not responsible for issues to the site that arise any time after our logging into it.
Sorry for these weird caveats; we just need to make sure that the role of our examination is clear and that we will not be clicking or changing anything on the site, just looking! 😀
2. Can you clarify how long you’ve had The Events Calendar and Filter Bar running alongside each other, and when these issues arose? Are both plugins recent additions to your site, and the issues have been there since day one? Or have you used these plugins for a long time, and this issue only appeared recently and suddenly?
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks George. Turns out the weekends are available in the filter drop down, but the padding was 15px and the weekend days were outside the viewable area. Since the scroll bar wasn’t visible until the user intentionally seeks it out I didn’t see that. I’m adjusting the padding on the days so they’re all visible.

ParticipantInteresting—thanks for sharing your update, Michelle.
Sorry for the trouble here! I will close up this thread for now, but if other issues or questions arise make a new thread any time.
Cheers,
