GuestHi,
can I use the Filter Bar vor selections like Distances 10-115 miles or postal codes 50000 – 59999?
Is that possible? I am using the event calendar for a run and walk website.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Alex

MemberHi Alex,
Thanks for getting in touch! Filter Bar does include built-in support for location-based filtering when paired with Events Calendar PRO, as well as support for any additional fields you might add (such as postal code). However, the latter would only cover individual postal codes and not a range as indicated here. It’s possible that this effect may be achievable using some degree of customizations, but these would be beyond the scope of what we’re able to provide support for here on the forums, unfortunately. 🙁
I hope that helps to answer your question here! Thanks again for stopping by, and let us know if there’s anything else we can assist with!

GuestHi Caroline,
is it possible to realize my topic to set a range as one event categorie? For example, I set a filter with a run distance 10-15 miles on an event. Is this possible? And just with the PRO Version? If not, purchasing the filter bar makes no sense for me.
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Alex

GuestHi Caroline,
I see, the charge of 89 $ are the charge for the PRO-Version which include the Filter Bar right?

MemberHi Alex,
Thanks for following up! If you don’t need support for actual ranges through Filter Bar, you can absolutely use event categories or tag for this–simply create your intended categories or tags in this way, then assign them to your events as needed. Categories and tags are included with both versions of The Events Calendar, and Filter Bar is not required for this functionality.
Regarding your last question, Filter Bar is a separate product that extends the functionality of either of our calendar plugins, and it is not included with Events Calendar PRO.
I hope that helps to clear things up! Thanks again for your interest, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
