Filter Bar Component

Do you need “The Events Calendar PRO” to have the Filter Bar or can you install it on “The Events Calendar”?

You can absolutely use Filter Bar on The Events Calendar. Events Calendar PRO is not required at all. 🙂

Thanks Geoff, it is an oldie but goodie.
I did activate the Filter Bar and is working. I was hoping I could get “Dates from” & “Dates to” for a time range of events but did not see a way to accomplish this using the Settings.

Awesome, glad to hear you’re using Filter Bar!

Yeah, there is no filter specifically for a date range. However, the calendar’s search field does have an “Events from” filed, though I know that’s not exactly what you’re looking for.

Filter Bar has a few additional variables to filter by time of day, if that helps.

That is too bad…you would think it be an integral part of the App. Any idea if it will be integrated??

Hey, thanks for following up!

I do see that theres’s an open feature request to add a datepicker to the Filter Bar, but I know it’s not on the radar as far as planning or development goes at the moment. There is a pretty helpful comment in the request, but I think it would be awesome if you could also add your vote and voice to the mix — especially if you have ideas of how that might look — so it gets documented and counted.
