Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to alter the default behavior of the filter bar checkboxes.
For example,
I have the following categories Colors, Red, Blue, Green.
I have an event that is tagged in the category “Colors” and “Red”.
I have an other event tagged as “Colors” and “blue”.
Right now if I use the filter bar and check “Colors” and “red” it will still give me both results because it gives you any event that is tagged as colors OR red.
I would like it to only show events that are tagged as Colors AND red.
Is that something we could modify using a filter or something?
Thank you

Thanks so much for reaching out!
If you go to Events Settings < Filters, you should be able to select whether you Match All or Match Any for your custom filters, like this:
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

I unfortunately don’t see the same thing you see. I am running Filter Bar 4.5.7 with the most recent Events Calendar version.
See screenshot attached.
Thank you

This option appears for custom filters created with the Additional Fields option added in with Events Calendar PRO. If you go to the Additional Fields tab and add a field there, it will show up in your filters list.
Do you see it there?
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

How would I translate these advanced fields options that I create through
WPML?August 24, 2018 at 11:38 am #1605325Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Adam,
I’m not quite sure we can assist with that integration.
However, to start, you can read more about setting up Additional Fields here:

Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
