Field types in attendee data

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there was a way to use different field types in the attendee data form?

I’ve just had a client running a pretty large event, but they were given a lot of very inconsistent data around the date of birth and mobile phone numbers.

Is it possible to integrate a date picker, and also a number field so I can make sure that they’re always given the DOB in the same DD/MM/YYYY format?

Similarly, a telephone number field would be very handy so that the first 0 wasn’t stripped out of the csv export

Hi, Ben.

You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

Note: I found a similar one for PRO’s Additional Fields — https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/7423063-more-field-type-options-for-additional-fields-esp — but not for Event Tickets Plus’ Attendee Meta fields.
