Abrar
ParticipantHi,
I am attempting to import around 50 events from a UTF-8 CSV file, however when I import the events a number of them do not import at all and several import incorrectly with the fields from the CSV being mismatched with the fields on the plugin (e.g. currency position –> category). I have ensured that the fields are correctly allocated before importing.
I have tried deleting the events from the database however this has not helped.
Your help would be much appreciated.

ParticipantHowdy Abrar,
I am sorry that is giving you issues. I would live to dive in deeper and take a look. Is it possible that you can share a link to the csv file you are trying to import? There are a few things that can go wrong with the file, and if I can examine it I should be able to find what’s up. If you can share the file itself, and not just the text within it, that would be awesome. Also if you know the name(s) of some of the events that won’t import, mind sharing those too?
Cheers!

ParticipantThank you for sharing the file and details Abrar. I am seeing the same thing you are. I am suspicious these are getting recognized as duplicates and being reimported over, if that makes sense. I am going to do some further tests and find out. Then I’ll report back.
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Abrar,
It would seem that portions of the event details are getting improperly interpreted as categories and causing much of these oddities. I am logging this as a bug so that our developers can patch it in a future version. In the mean time I will see if I can find a temporary fix so you can import data without hiccups.
I will investigate some more tomorrow and give you a temporary fix if any can be found for the current version of the plugin. Thank you again for reporting this bug and sharing all of your information.
Cheers!
