GuestAt the moment we are using Tickera in combination with WooCommerce. But we are running into some problems. Therefore I have a few pre-sale questions for your plugin:
1A. Is it possible to manual create tickets by ourself from the back-end? We have an offline selling point, so this is a very important feature for us.
1B. When 1A is possible; when someone orders 4 tickets and we create this order from the back-end – 4 unique tickets has to be generated (4 unique QR codes). Are these 4 tickets then generated separately and do we have to click them separately or can we print these 4 tickets at the touch of a button? In our current situation we have to print them one by one. This takes too much time… It would be ideal if one order contain more tickets -> the tickets could be merged into 1 PDF file.
2. When an event is over, we would like this event to automatically disappear from the front of the website. Is this the case?
3. I assume that all data from customers who have ordered tickets online, is stored in the system. Is it possible to export this information easily? To what extent can we determine which information is exported? For example: can we choose to only export the name and email of the customers?
If something is not clear, feel free to ask!
Looking forward to your reaction.

KeymasterHello Kevin,
Thanks for reaching out!
Those are some excellent questions! I’d be happy to answer them for you.
1A. It is possible to manually create tickets in the back-end if you are using WooCommerce as the eCommerce provider together with Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.
If you are familiar with WooCommerce then you need to create a new WooCommerce order and add the number of tickets to the order. Fill out the email address at the billing details and you are done.
When the order is saved and email is sent to the email address you entered. Note, if you are offline, the email will not be sent.
1B. When you “sell” 4 tickets – even if for the same event – then 4 different tickets with different QR codes are created. The 4 tickets are sent in one email, as the email content. All 4 QR codes will be in that email.
Downloading a PDF version of the tickets is not a built-in feature of the plugin. However, we do have a free extension that can give you this feature.
2. Events do not automatically disappear from the website once they are over.
With some customization this can be amended. Either you can hide past events with CSS, or you can remove them or set them to draft once they are past.
Please note, while we are not able to provide customized solutions, we can help you get started and give you guidance if you decide you want to develop this feature. Alternatively we can direct you to some freelance developers who can help you out with customizations.
3. Yes, all data is stored. There is a built-in option to export the attendee list of an event. There is a default set of information that gets exported. If you would like to change that we can probably help you out with code snippets to make adjustments.
WooCommerce also has some built-in export functions, plus there are a number of WooCommerce add-ons that can give you advanced export features. However, that is already beyond our support.
Hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you have any more.

GuestHi Andras,
Thank you very much for your extensive and clear answers.
I still see some problems, especially with the PDF’s:
As far as I can see, the PDF files are still stored 1 for 1 and therefore have to be clicked 1 for 1 to export and print. What the customer wants: 1 PDF button per order. So if the order contains 4 tickets (4 PDF’s) there has to be one PDF button to one PDF file, with the 4 PDF tickets in it. Do you understand? 🙂 It’s quite hard to explain…If I have any further questions, I will ask you.

KeymasterHey Kevin,
Yes, since the PDFs are generated per ticket and not per order, you will have one PDF per ticket.
You will however receive all tickets in one email (as the email content), which you could print / save as PDF, then you will have all of them in one.
Hope this helps.
I will leave this thread open for now so you can get back to me with more questions.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
