Featured Organisers

I see that I am able to feature specific events and venues.
The problem is that the site holds many events (Many occurring ones).
If we want to feature an event (say a boat party) and it is re-occurring, it will just show the first date. Which doesn’t look very smooth or professional. It also misleading.
What would be better if we could feature an organiser, which people can click on to read about the event and then have the list of dates available.
Is there somewhere i can choose Organisers or does this need to be a content suggestion?

Hello Kristian

Have you checked Event » Settings » General » Recurring event instances? You can select do only show the first instance, or turn that off if it was enabled.

The other thing that might work for you is an additional plugin we’ve created to list organizers: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/listing-venues-and-organizers/.

A final option might include this shortcode instead:

[tribe_events_list organizer="yes"}

However, I think that method would bump into the same recurring events possibly.
