Featured Image imported from calendar

Is there a work around so the Featured Image from our main calendar is imported along with the event details and displayed on our other calendars?

To be able to help you I would like to ask for some info.

So that I understand fully: you have a calendar where you have events with featured images. You use the feed of this calendar and import it to other sites / calendars. You would like the featured image from the origin to be transferred / imported as well, also as a featured image?

Can you share with me the link to the feed you are importing?

How are you importing it?

http://mypassportradio.com/events/ is the calendar that imports the events.

We are only importing events with certain category tags. Currently setup for an hourly automatic import from http://star1037.com/events/ using the iCal importer

We would like to transfer the featured image from the events on star to the passport calendar.

Thanks for sharing the details.

I also did some checking internally. At the moment importing images through an iCal feed (whether using iCal importer of Event Aggregator) is not an implemented feature unfortunately.

This feature request has recently been added to our queue and is not yet decided if and when it will be implemented. (Whispering: since this is a feature for Facebook imports I would expect it to become a feature as well for iCal.)

I’m sorry I cannot give you better news at this time.
