Featured Event Option

I just noticed an exciting add on, the ability to add featured event option. The help message says “Featured events are highlighted on front end in views, archives and widgets. I still understand how and where I can I have featured events shown? How can I create a widget for the featured even?. How can I make an event show up on home page / front end view?

Thanks for reaching out to us! I will try to help you understand how the featured event functionality works.

Throughout the plugins, there are a few ways you can utilize events that have been marked as “featured.” They will show up in certain views at the top of the list, similar to “sticky” events. There are also a few visual differences meant to highlight the featured events in other views, such as the “list” view.
