I am in the process of migrating a site and encountering issues with the Events Calendar. I am running the latest version of WP and the 2.8 version of Events Calendar.
My first issue is that I can not find where to enter a license key. From reading the documentation, the spot moved. I can’t find it under the old spot or the new one. Can I see a screenshot of where it is to be? I did look at some of the old Youtube videos, but it is not in those areas. I also compared what I am seeing on the new site with another site and see that the site that is working properly does not have a license tab under Events > Settings.
Next, I am seeing only one of my imported events on the event list page in the WP admin area. It says there are a total of 11, but for some reason only one is appearing. It also displays the following info: home/content/38/8337138/html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/lib/tribe-events-recurrence-meta.class.php on line 27
None of my imported events had recurrence. All but one was a full day event.

ParticipantI did find a way to get rid of the “home/content/38/8337138/html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/lib/tribe-events-recurrence-meta.class.php” error –> I deleted The Event Calendar Pro plug-in (deactivating did not have an impact.) I then checked and all my events appeared and no errors. As soon as I reinstalled the Pro version, my problems returned.

MemberHey Colleen. Thanks for reaching out here, and my apologies for the inconvenience you’re faced with here. Just to confirm: when you say 2.8 of Events Calendar, you mean 2.0.8 of The Events Calendar…right? Those are two separate plugins so I just want to make sure we’re talking on the same page here. If so, can you also confirm that you’re running Events Calendar PRO 2.0.8? Both versions would need to be in sync if you have them installed on the site.
The licenses tab should be where you mentioned — under Events -> Settings. Here’s how I see it on a vanilla 2011 install: http://d.pr/i/xXaT. Note that PRO does have to be active for that tab to appear. Could that be your issue here?
As for the error itself: that’s an odd issue and I’m not really sure what would cause it, shy of not updating to the latest version or having the plugins out of sync. Can you send over a set of admin credentials to pro /a tri.be, with a link to this thread as reference, and I can try to take a look directly? We won’t change anything but would like to see the environment if we can to try and advise from there.

ParticipantRob – Thank you for the help and screenshot. I had activated v 2 of Calendar Pro with the expectation that once I added it, I would be asked to update it. When I uploaded Pro 2.0.8, things went smoothly.
