I have a three-day workshop set up as a recurring event (three consecutive days). After successfully publishing the event, if I go back in and edit the event, upon “Update” (regardless of whether I choose to update this event only, or future events), I get the following fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function has_post_thumbnail() in /var/www/vhosts/vfes.net/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/lib/tribe-events-recurrence-meta.class.php on line 371

I have deleted the event and re-added it multiple times, and every time I do, the same thing happens as soon as I attempt to “Update” the event.

Details: brand now download/installation of TEC Pro; WordPress 3.3.1; custom theme (not built by me); PHP 5.2.6; Plugins installed: BackupBuddy, Black Studio TinyMCE Widget, Gravity Forms, Job Manager, Page Links To, Secure WordPress, TEC, TEC Pro, TinyMCE Advanced, WordPress Category Archive, WordPress Database Backup, WP-CMS Post Control.

As an aside… I talked my client into purchasing the Pro version and would like to get this fixed asap… 🙂

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hm, I’m feeling pretty smart tonight. I sat and thought about the error and then realized that the issue must have been that the theme was developed before post_thumbnails was introduced, and sure enough it was. Added add_theme_support(‘post-thumbnails’); to functions.php and everything is working fine, it appears. All resolved.

Nice glad you got it figured out Kym, I’m closing the ticket 🙂
