Fatal error when publishing a New Event

Hi. I’m able to enter a new event through the front end event submission form, but get the following fatal error when trying to publish the draft event on the back end:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in /home4/mason/public_html/connect/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lib/tribe-event-query.class.php on line 289

Everything else in EC works fine, although this one issue seems to be a theme problem since when I change the theme to 2015 the new event submission works ok.

Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can try to help out, but we are limited in supporting theme or plugin compatibility issues.

Are you able to contact the theme developer or go through the theme coding to see if you can debug the issue?

It is unknown to us what the theme has that might cause this.

Let me know and we can go from here.

Hi Brian, the theme developer, Ivan at PressApps, has fixed this for me. I’d like to say a big thank you to him for his quick and professional support.
