I am getting a fatal error message after updating my iCal Importer and Events Calendar Pro. After the update I am also getting a message that says “To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar.”

I am unable to even view my calendar now too. I get this error message when trying to view my calendar:

Fatal error: Call to a member function are_updates_needed() on a non-object in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas07_data03/44/2513344/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-filterbar/src/Tribe/Additional_Fields/Manager.php on line 135

Good evening David and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the fatal error message you received upon updating.
This was certainly unintended on our end and we apologize for the inconveniences this might have caused.

I would love to help you with this topic.

The first thing I would recommend is updating our core plugin ( the Events Calendar ) and Event Tickets to version 4.2.2 (they are both still at 4.2.1.1 on your installation).

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hi Geoff,

Thanks for looking into this for me. At the time I submitted my request I did not receive the option to update the core plugin from 4.2.1.1 to 4.2.2. I tried to update it several times but the message I received was that I was already using the latest version. I was able to update it later in the evening. Thanks for your time.
