GuestHello,
I just received a notice from WP that I needed to update the Event Calendar Plugin – which I did. I had previously downloaded and tried to install and activate the main-blog-loop plugin but it told me it was already installed and would not activate.
NOW – directly after updating the Events Calendar Plugin – I get the following when i try to access ANY menu item on my dashboard, including plugins. We are using the AVADA theme.
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Tribe__Settings_Helper’ not found in C:\inetpub\westmounttest\wp-content\plugins\tribe-ext-main-blog-loop\index.php:62 Stack trace: #0 C:\inetpub\westmounttest\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php(286): Tribe__Extension__Main_Blog_Loop->add_settings(”) #1 C:\inetpub\westmounttest\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 C:\inetpub\westmounttest\wp-includes\plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 C:\inetpub\westmounttest\wp-admin\admin.php(156): do_action(‘admin_init’) #4 C:\inetpub\westmounttest\wp-admin\update-core.php(10): require_once(‘C:\inetpub\west…’) #5 {main} thrown in C:\inetpub\westmounttest\wp-content\plugins\tribe-ext-main-blog-loop\index.php on line 62
Now what? We are supposed to take our site live in one week so this is not good.
Thanks.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this, but first will you please post this question in ourEvents Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
Thanks,

GuestWhoa… Brendan, I’m considering buying the same products Kat is using and this issue seems very serious. Your reply for Kat to repost to the correct forum seems insensitive at best. Realty is that you all are about to only partially online at your retreat and this person needs your help now. Seriously? you could n’t move it or repost it for her? (and for those of us to find it easily as we consider a purchase?).
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Sue,
Sorry you feel that way. I for one am not at a retreat and do care about the success of our customers. When its the free products, we need those questions to be posted to WordPress.org since we have a team that manages those responses. Premium products are given priority in this forum since its a benefit for paying customers and we need to be fair to those who have paid. Hope that makes sense.
Thanks,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
