ParticipantHello There,
I having tough time installing / updating the Event Calendar. I have Pro & regular versions. We are able to install the Pro version without any problem. Once we try to install the regular one, it shows Fatal error, memory limit error. I am on localhost and have configured PHP INI and WP Memory limits to very high limits. So there is no problem of memory. As an alternative, we installed previous version of Event calendar and activated. The activation happened, but the the features like adding a new event and all were not showing up. So we updated the plugin through the update option within the plugin page, now the whole site has collapsed, showing the memory error and on refresh shows Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Settings_Manager::add() in C:\wamp\www\sitename\wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar\common\src\Tribe\Main.php on line 237
Could you please help.

MemberGood evening and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have face while trying to install the Events Calendar on your local site.
I would love to help you with this topic.
Actually, you are bound to encounter issues if you have Pro activated prior to activating the Events Calendar. I would recommend making sure that Pro is inactive Prior to installation.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch that seems to impact certain Windows / IIs / Local installs. We are actively working on a fix for this.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point.
But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.
In the meantime, you could downgrade both plugins to their last version prior to 4.4. and that should work: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Best regards,
Geoff B.
