ParticipantReally sorry to hear this Naomi!
We don’t have other reports of this error and I cannot recreate it myself, so here’s what I would recommend doing:
1. Use FTP to manually delete the existing /the-events-calendar folder from your site’s /wp-content/plugins directory.
2. Delete any folders for other Events plugins, too, like /events-calendar-pro or /the-events-calendar-community-events for example.Note: Deleting those files will NOT delete any event data!
If you’re not familiar with FTP, you can either research online how to do this, or you can contact your web host directly and ask them to remove those folders from your /wp-content/plugins directly for you.
3. Once those folders are removed, head to your site’s dashboard…does it show up again? Can you access your dashboard fine, without issue?
4. If so, then download a fresh copy of The Events Calendar from here: theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
5. Install that fresh copy on your site and activate The Events Calendar.
Do any errors pop up when you activate this copy? If so, please post the full error message you get when you do that here.
We can continue the conversation from that point in the above steps — let us know how things go! 😀

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
