FacetWP – Change default query

Hi,

I have a site in place that uses FacetWP and would like to use this instead of the Filter Bar plugin to search events, venues and organizers. While I am familiar with coding and have FacetWP in place for posts, I don’t know how to fully integrate it with Events.

I would rather use a hook than have to edit each loop.php file for the different views.

Does anyone have FacetWP working with The Events Calendar? Is there a way for me to use a hook to replace the default query so it aways uses FacetWP?

First, let me note that we are fairly limited in how much support we can give for custom development questions like this.

That said, we always like helping out and at least point users into the right direction as best possible.

I’m not very familiar with the FacetWP plugin and have never seen it working with The Events Calendar but if you bump into any questions while building that customization, feel free to ask and we’ll try to help as much as we can.
